With a solid cast iron casing and a cast bronze impeller, the pump is engineered for long service life in demanding environments such as groundwater extraction, borehole dewatering, potable water treatment, and hydrogeology systems.

The Prime Jet 240 Deep Well Water Pump can be configured for shallow wells with suction lifts up to 7.5m (24.6 ft) or deep wells with suction depths up to 50m (164 ft). Attachment

Pressure Tank

The Prime Jet 240 series can be connected to a Davey Supercell pressure tank, forming a complete automatic water pump system.

The pressure tank stores pressurized water, reducing frequent cycling and stabilizing fluid pressure.

Pressure Controller

Alternative to the mechanical pressure switch – which is a defaulted setup for the Prime Jet 240 water pump, the Torrium2 as a smart pressure controller can be opted to replace the former attachment.

It is defined as ‘smart’ for its intelligent capacity, where the Torrium2 gauges routine use unique to each household and individual / family application, which it then ‘memorises’ the low pressure threshold using a built-in laser detection for the existing water pipeline infrastructure.

When a tap becomes opened once again, the flow rate must reach a certain pressure point where the Torrium2 pressure controller would then kickstart the centrifugal pump, and this is done so to prevent pump cycling.

Pump cycling could be the result of a leakage found in the piping, or even old taps, causing eletropumps installed to constantly run to eventual failure otherwise.

Pump Skid
