The Davey’s DynaFlo Water Transfer Pump is fitted with a corrosion resistant electric motor using TEFC enclosed construction.
With a motor that is designed for frequent start operation and continuous transfer duty, Davey’s DynaFlo Water Transfer Pump can also be used in portable applications using low voltage DC or small engine driven configurations where electrical supply is limited.

Stainless Steel Shaft
The pump uses a 304 stainless-steel motor shaft, which provides high corrosion resistance and strong mechanical strength.
This material selection is important for long-term reliability, especially when pumping water from natural sources such as tanks, dams, or rivers.
The stainless-steel shaft also reduces wear and improves resistance against rust and chemical exposure.

Suction Inlet


Typical inlet configuration includes 1½” BSP Female suction and discharge connections.
The pump supports suction lifts up to approximately 7 meters [23 feet] when correctly primed and installed with foot valve protection.
Operating fluid temperature limits include continuous operation up to approximately 50°C [122°F] with short peak exposure limits up to approximately 79°C [174°F].
Impellers & Diffuser
The pump uses centrifugal water impeller design constructed from corrosion resistant engineering polymer or optional stainless-steel materials. Mechanical seal systems use ceramic and carbon seal faces supported by nitrile rubber sealing elastomers to maintain fluid containment under pressure.
Corrosion Resistant Pump Casing: Depending on the versions, the pump casing is manufactured from glass-filled Noryl, a high-strength engineering polymer. Likewise, cast iron or stainless steel casing can be opted and these material provides excellent corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, and long service life. It is especially suitable for handling water from natural sources where minerals or environmental exposure may cause corrosion in metal casings.
Backplate & Mechanical Seal
The mechanical seal system uses a ceramic stationary seal ring and carbon rotating seal ring.
This combination provides reliable shaft sealing and prevents water leakage into the motor housing.
O-Ring & Spacer
The pump uses nitrile rubber O-rings and elastomers to provide reliable sealing between casing components and shaft sealing interfaces.
These materials provide good resistance to water and temperature variation.
